As 2025 wraps up, FoMaSystems looks back on a year full of milestones: from award-winning gear on the Oscars stage to the launch of the FoMa Antares and its rapid global rollout. With new team members joining our ranks, a strengthened presence at leading international trade shows, and our cutting-edge equipment proving itself on set, it’s been a year that set the pace for the future.
Here’s a month-by-month look at what we accomplished.
January – Stabilization Workshops
January kicked off with a series of hands-on workshops. FoMaSystems teamed up with ARRI Rental to showcase the Evo 360 stabilized remote head in Luxembourg, providing filmmakers with in-depth training on its operation and sharing knowledge about precision, versatility, and real-world applications for cinematography.
Later, in Saarbrücken, FoMaSystems participated at the Max Ophüls Film Festival in collaboration with the BVK (Bayerischer Kameraverein), demonstrating the differences between gimbal and Steadicam operation and showcasing the capabilities of electronic image stabilization.
February – Final Tests for FoMa Antares Remote Head
February marked a critical milestone as the FoMa Antares Remote Head entered its final testing phase. Our engineering team put the system through rigorous checks and real-world scenarios to ensure it met the highest standards for broadcast, live events, and cinematography. These final tests confirmed the FoMa Antares’ precision, stability, and versatility, setting the stage for its official launch later in the year.
May – Oscar for ARRI Trinity 2
In May, FoMaSystems’ Chief Engineer Roman Foltyn received the Scientific and Engineering Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for the concept, design, and development of the ARRI Trinity 2 camera stabilizer system. A proud moment for the team and a highlight of the year. Read the full interview for insights into the development process and behind-the-scenes details of the ARRI Trinity 2.
June – Launch of FoMa Antares Remote Head
In June, FoMaSystems premiered the FoMa Antares Remote Head at Cine Gear Expo in Los Angeles. Designed for broadcast, live events and cinematography, the system offers precise control, rock-steady shots , and fast setup. Powered by our Forge hardware platform and Evolve 1.0 software suite, it supports full fibre and SDI passthrough, robust metadata output, and seamless integration with third-party systems, making it ideal for virtual and augmented reality applications. The FoMa Antares comes in six configurable setups, including 11″ and 12″ Hollow Axle, Slip‑Ring / SDI, and Slip‑Ring Fibre / SDI options. July – Strengthening Our Marketing Presence
In July, FoMaSystems welcomed its first-ever Marketing Manager, strengthening brand communication and customer outreach while supporting our growing international presence. At the same time, we launched our redesigned website, offering customers and partners a fresh, updated online experience and easier access to product information, news, and support tools.
August – Tyler Joins the Team
August brought further reinforcement on the commercial side: Tyler Rocheleau joined FoMaSystems to support sales and partner relations, particularly in the American markets. His industry expertise and customer-focused approach have already begun shaping new opportunities and strengthening global connections and is available anytime to provide product demos to clients and partners.
September – New Customer Tools Go Live & IBC 2025
September was a major month for customer support innovation:
- Launch of the new online warranty portal: For the first time, customers can register products, track warranty status, and manage service cases directly through the FoMaSystems website.
- Introduction of the Technical Support Form: A streamlined online form now allows users to submit technical questions more efficiently, ensuring faster and more precise communication with our engineering and support team.
These tools mark a significant step toward making our service infrastructure even more transparent, accessible, and user-friendly.
FoMaSystems exhibited at IBC 2025, one of the world’s leading media and broadcast trade shows. At the show, our flagship remote‑head system FoMa Antares was featured across multiple partner booths, reaching a broad audience of industry professionals.
Buoyed by the strong reception and high interest, we have already secured our own dedicated booth for IBC 2026. A clear signal of our commitment to growing our presence, engaging directly with clients, and continuing to lead in broadcast‑ and production‑ready camera stabilization technology.
November – Print Feature & Inter BEE 2025
November was marked by two major visibility highlights:
- Debuting in print: FoMaSystems made its first-ever magazine appearance in MovieMaker Magazine’s Fall 2025 “The Future Issue”, strategically positioned between forward-thinking editorials to showcase our innovation in camera stabilization and robotics.
- Inter BEE 2025 in Japan: At one of Asia’s most influential broadcast and entertainment technology events, FoMaSystems exhibited at the NKL stand, and showcased the new FoMa Antares mounted on the GF‑Neo Column. We even were able to take additional FoMa Antares orders on site, highlighting the growing demand for high-end remote heads in Asia.
December – Holiday Celebration
December saw the team come together for the annual Christmas celebration. The office decked out in holiday decorations for the first time in years, and a fun-filled White Elephant gift exchange making the end of the year extra memorable.
Looking Ahead
2025 was a milestone and an Oscar year for FoMaSystems, with our Chief Engineer receiving the Scientific and Engineering Award for the ARRI Trinity 2, new team members joining, expanded services, and a strong presence at international events.
We’re carrying that energy into 2026 with innovative product developments, deeper collaborations, and even more ways to support filmmakers.
There’s a lot ahead – stay tuned for what’s coming next!
