The Micro Salon AFC 2026 took place on February 5 and 6, 2026 at the Parc Floral de Paris in Paris. It was organized by the Association Française des directrices et directeurs de la photographie. The 26th edition once again brought together professionals from the fields of cinematography, broadcast, and audiovisual production.
Micro Salon has established itself as a focused industry meeting point where manufacturers, rental companies, cinematographers, and technical teams exchange ideas and explore new tools. Across two days, visitors were able to discover product presentations, live demonstrations, and technical discussions. The themes centered around camera systems, lighting, grip equipment, and workflow solutions. Despite heavy rain on the first day, the trade fair remained well attended and conversations continued throughout the event.
FoMa Antares Remote Head Presented by Panther at Micro Salon 2026
Although we were not personally on site, our remote head FoMa Antares was represented at the show. Panther presented our FoMa Antares remote head at their booth. Moreover visitors had the opportunity to see the system integrated into a professional camera support environment.
The FoMa Antares is a compact three axis stabilized remote head designed for high end broadcast and cinematic applications. Its engineering focuses on combining precision, flexibility, and a streamlined footprint for demanding shooting scenarios.

Key Features of the FoMa Antares Remote Head
The FoMa Antares stands out due to several technical characteristics that are particularly relevant for modern productions:
Compact and lightweight design
Compared to the ARRI 360 EVO remote head, the FoMa Antares offers a significantly reduced size while maintaining high payload capacity and stability. This makes it suitable e.g. cranes, dollies, jibs, and other support systems where weight and balance are critical.
High precision stabilization
With smooth pan, tilt, and roll control, the system enables precise camera movement even in dynamic environments. This level of control is essential for cinematic storytelling as well as live broadcast scenarios.
Flexible integration
The FoMa Antares can be mounted on a wide range of platforms. This includes tracking vehicles, cable cam systems, and robotic arms. Its modular architecture allows crews to adapt quickly to different production requirements.
Advanced workflow compatibility
Built for contemporary production environments, the system supports modern control protocols and metadata workflows. This makes the FoMa Antares suitable for virtual production, augmented reality applications, and complex multi camera setups.
By being part of the Panther presentation at Micro Salon 2026, the FoMa Antares was positioned within a broader ecosystem of professional camera support solutions. This demonstrates how remote head technology continues to evolve alongside industry demands.
Outlook for 2026 Trade Shows and Live Demonstrations
Micro Salon AFC 2026 offered a compact but concentrated overview of current developments in the French and European film technology market. Rather than being a large scale international expo, it remains a focused meeting point for professionals who value direct exchange and practical demonstrations.
For those who were not able to attend, there will be further opportunities to experience the FoMa Antares remote head live. The FoMa Antares will be showcased at several additional trade shows and industry events throughout 2026. There visitors can explore its capabilities in detail and discuss application scenarios directly with our team and partners.
If you are interested in stabilized camera movement solutions or advanced remote head systems for cinema and broadcast, keep an eye on upcoming event announcements. We look forward to presenting the FoMa Antares in person at future exhibitions this year.
