On February 15, 2026, we showcased our latest remote head technology at the annual Berlinale Brunch at the Atelier Gardens, a creative hub hosting film professionals during Berlinale week in Berlin.
What was announced as a relaxed “Show & Tell | Discussions | Drinks & Food” gathering quickly turned into one of the most dynamic meetups for film equipment enthusiasts and industry professionals we’ve experienced in a long time.

A Packed Berlinale 2026 Brunch: Film Equipment and Industry Professionals in Action
We were genuinely surprised by how crowded it became. The space was buzzing with cinematographers, camera operators, grip specialists, rental houses, and creatives from all over the industry exchanging ideas about camera cranes, remote heads, and other high-end film equipment.
It became so lively that toward the end of the event there was even an announcement asking guests to slowly wrap up and make their way out. That really shows the atmosphere: nobody wanted to leave.

On Site with Osman “Ozzy” Öksüz: Camera Crane Expertise Meets Innovation
We attended together with “Ozzy”, a camera, Steadicam, and Trinity operator. He is also Co-Founder of NEXTMOV GbR.
Through NEXTMOV GbR, Ozzy and his team specialize in renting and supporting telescopic cranes, remote heads, and high-end grip gear for film and TV productions. Thanks to this collaboration, we were able to showcase our FoMa Antares Remote Head on the longest crane in the hall, attracting major attention as it could sweep across the entire space and be seen by every attendee.

Hands-On Reactions: Filmmakers Compare Remote Head and Camera Equipment

Even though the DJI Ronin 2 was displayed at a different stand, attendees immediately noticed the difference in setup, handling, and stability. Even those who normally don’t work with such equipment commented on the speed and intuitive control of the FoMa Antares — showing that the technology speaks for itself.
The FoMa Antares setup on the crane demonstrated the full potential of a remote head in action, making it easy for operators to visualize how it can enhance camera crane operations and complex filming setups.
Visitors were eager to test and compare the system. Conversations quickly turned technical, covering setup time, handling, stability, and crane integration. The feedback highlighted how accessible the FoMa Antares is, even for those not regularly using advanced remote head or crane systems.
Our technician Yahia, known within the FoMaSystems support network, was so busy demonstrating and answering every technical questions that he barely had time for a break. A clear sign of the event’s success and the audience’s curiosity.
The Spirit of the Berlinale 2026 Brunch: Networking and Film Technology Exchange
What made this Berlinale Brunch special wasn’t just the technology — it was the people.
From LED studios and virtual production experts to crane operators and DOPs, the event reflected the evolving landscape of film technology and equipment. The open atmosphere encouraged curiosity, testing, and honest feedback — the kind of hands-on exchange that inspires innovation.
Judging by the packed rooms and the final announcement asking everyone to leave, it was clear that the demand for live demonstrations of remote heads, camera cranes, and related film equipment is stronger than ever.

Looking Ahead
Events like this highlight why being part of this industry is so rewarding. Collaboration, innovation, and enthusiasm for tools that empower creative storytelling continue to drive us forward.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by, tested the FoMa Antares Remote Head, asked questions, and shared insights. We’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to showcase our remote head solutions.
