FoMa Antares at the Center: FoMaSystems Showcases Innovation Across Multiple Booths in Hall 12 at IBC 2025

As the media, entertainment, and broadcast technology industries undergo rapid transformation, this year’s IBC 2025 served as a pivotal moment to connect, innovate, and collaborate. With over 43,800 attendees and 1,300+ exhibitors, the show reaffirmed its role as a global hub for next-gen tech—from AI and immersive media to 5G and evolving production solutions.

For FoMaSystems, the show was more than just an exhibition. Our flagship remote head system, FoMa Antares, was featured not only at our joint stand with Blackcam but also at the booths of Motion Impossible, Grip Factory Munich, Panther & cmotion —five distinct contexts, one powerful system dominating its presence in Hall 12.

FoMa Antares in Action — From Grip to Robotics

The modular and robust design of FoMa Antares made it a natural fit for a range of professional environments. Throughout the show, visitors experienced the system as it operated seamlessly on robotic dollies, advanced grip setups, lens control ecosystems, and high-precision support systems like Motion Impossible’s AGITO running on their newly announced Commander system.

Across all partner booths, one consistent message came through: production teams are demanding flexible, high-performance solutions that integrate easily into today’s hybrid workflows. FoMa Antares delivered on that promise, offering:

  • High payload capacity for cinema and broadcast rigs
  • Fiber, SDI Slip ring, and hollow axle options for clean cable routing
  • IP-based control and metadata outputs supporting AR/VR use-cases
  • Robust build quality suited for both studio and on-location environments
  • Height adjustable ring allowing for extremely compact lens height, or the ability to turn FoMa Antares into its own tower for demanding live events.

The system’s adaptability drew attention from both technical teams and creative professionals looking for scalable solutions in complex productions.

A Show Defined by Transformation and Vision

The atmosphere at IBC 2025 was noticeably forward-looking. With more than 600 speakers and sessions ranging from cloud-based workflows to the role of immersive content, the event became a think tank for what’s next.

Exhibitors—including FoMaSystems—highlighted not only their tech but also the quality of conversations and sales engagement throughout the four-day event. “What struck me most was the sense of optimism and purpose,” said IBC CEO Michael Crimp. “Exhibitors, visitors, speakers, and partners all came here to shape the future of our industry.”

Industry Partnerships That Drive Innovation

Being showcased at the booths of top-tier brands like Motion Impossible, Panther, cmotion, and Grip Factory Munich emphasized one of FoMa Antares biggest strengths: its compatibility with a wide range of production tools.

Whether it was integrated with motion control systems, lens control units, or grip platforms, FoMa Antares proved its readiness for:

  • Live broadcast
  • Virtual production
  • Film and commercial shoots
  • Remote/robotic camera workflows

The collaborative spirit of IBC extended to these partnerships—each demonstration underlining how open, modular engineering accelerates innovation across the ecosystem.

Looking Ahead

As the industry continues to evolve at speed, solutions like FoMa Antares are helping define new standards for remote head technology — balancing precision, performance, and future-ready features. Being part of IBC 2025 allowed us to showcase this vision not just through words, but through real-world demonstrations across five respected partners in the field.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to share that FoMa Systems is returning to Amsterdam. For the first time ever, we’ll have our own booth at IBC 2026. We’ll be easy to find in Hall 12 – not a common orbit for first-time exhibitors -but it reflects our growing presence and long-term commitment to the industry.
